Love the pass through

The pass through is the best part of this. I mostly use it for NONEL, but have also found that it's a useful space to stuff just about anything extra that I'm using including notebooks, maps, gloves, etc. I also end up using the marker holders more than expected and the retention has been great.

Great Product!

The Charlie panel has incredible build quality. I was shocked by how much structural integrity it has. I expected it to be somewhat flimsy/floppy and was worried that it would sag when loaded. This IS NOT the case at all. The wizards at Forge managed to create a perfectly structured elastic panel. I was impressed that I could load the front pockets and still easily access and utilize the pass through without interference. The Charlie panel is truly one of my most useful pieces of kit. I run my Charlie Panel on a Shaw ArcV4 placard and Ferro KTS placard insert. No sag or “forward tip” even when fully loaded. For my purposes, I don’t typically run 6 mags stacked on the front of my carrier. Instead I use the Charlie panel as a modular third hand. Depending on the needs for that day, I will change out what I’m carrying in the front mag pockets. Anything from bangs, flashlight, tools, or flexcuffs. I have zippers on my pass through, and typically use it as a catch all or a stuff pocket. Frequently after using small breaching tools, like the BRB, I don’t have time to try to get it put away correctly so I just slide it in there. Even with the BRB, flexcuffs, and evidence bags all stuffed into the pass through, I can still run mags and other equipment out of the mag slots. The Charlie panel has quickly become my most used piece of gear.

The Panel

I ran the Charlie panel during a very strenuous course. The panel fixes a problem, modularity to our own detriment, that a lot of gear has now. There’s no extra add ons or extra pieces you need to make yourself combat effective (outside of the standard flaps). The slick build of the panel keeps your workspace clean and tidy, all while allowing you to carry the extra equipment needed to facilitate any breaching problem. The pass through offers a compartment for admin items (with axl advanced zippers), a nice place to keep a small breaching tool (Jimmy) or its initial purpose, the best way to stow individual nonel for a breaching problem. I would and have recommended this panel to anyone I know. The creators developed this panel for a fixed purpose. It is a staple on my kit moving forward. Great product.
