Classic, classic vibe

This is a massive sound for a small unit. I was really surprised at the bottom end it adds. It’s very smooth and can be cranked right up and it doesn’t distort or break up. I’m loving it on vocals and even drums. Quite a simple build and the instructions from DIYRE are the best there are. Make sure you pop for a bit extra and get the Opamp add-on and vintage transformer, its a very accurate recreation of the Pultec

Great built and sound

I just love that kit. The built was easy and well documented. The result is outstanding. If you are looking for a passive EQ look no further, the optional vintage output ads a bit of grid and colour, its perfect for my bass tracks, I imagine it would be great for mastering too, but haven't tried that yet.
