Bolt Fingerprint

I love the new design. The fingerprint is a lot faster and accurate than the first Gen, but I found the first Gen is quicker to turn the lock. In general, I really love this product and I'll keep it for a long time like my first generation bolt lock.

I replaced an existing install. Installation went very well. The part of the bolt that fits inside the door is just a bit shorter and fit the hole cut out perfectly. Fingerprint reading seems faster and fewer rescans to unlock - nice when coming in from yard work and dirty fingers. Nice not to need the Bluetooth-WiFi hub. This lock does take more batteries.

Setting it up and linking to the app was a pain. It appears that it needed a day to get everything connected. Also, during that time, users couldn’t be added and the wifi connection kept on disconnecting. Everything seems to be ok now.
