Bolt NFC

underwhelming. The app is broken and doesn't work most of the times. Had to wait 3 days to configure the lock while the app was not functioning. The lock itself doesn't work well with Android phones. There is nothing seamless about using nfc. I simply wasn't able to make it work. The door sensor requires installation in a very weird place, damaging door trim. Without that sensor the lock auto close is dumb. After the installation the lock didn't work, trying to close the door in the wrong direction. Changing it requires working app. Overall, I was happier with a regular "dumb" lock.

I highly recommend the Bolt NFC to anyone building a home, or wanting to upgrade their existing deadbolt. Super easy installation! Great product!

NFC support for Android is really limited, and non-existent for Android watches. The app worked for auto unlock for a few days (which game me hope, since previous locks haven't worked at all - oh well). It's decent enough as a smart lock, considering it was half price. Definitely glad it was discounted though.
