Very good, but "not my cup of tea" lol
This is a very good tea, and I am giving 4 stars despite not loving it's taste. The taste is good, in fact those I shared it with really liked it. That said, I didnt love it. . . I didnt hate it either. It is just a very strong flavor. I've learned that "ripe" isn't for me, but "raw" is. If you're looking for a more conventional green tea flavor, I would recommend the "raw". But if you want to expand your pallet, give this "ripe" stuff a try. You get a lot for a reasonable price. I will say, given it's strong flavor, an 8oz cup will yield a very strong tea. I would try it first in 12-16 oz to see how you like it. Make it stronger or weaker by adding more/less water.

Tasty little nuggets
I liked these a lot. They make a really decent cup of tea, especially when I'm on the go. The only reason I gave 4 out of 5 is that they don't seem to be as strong or slow to dissolve as a few other cha gao I've tried, which means I can't make quite as much tea per piece. That's not really a problem, though, since you get 18-20 pieces in even the smallest order!

Prefer it with 300ml water
My first attempt was ok but very watery; hard to pick out subtle notes. My second go I brewed in only 300mL of water. The liquid is very dark, like a 2nd or 3rd steep or a strong Pu’er. The flavors were excellent! Well worth the price if you are on the go.
