Beans - Red Small (Organic) - Sprouting Seeds

Growing Small Red Beans in Heber City, Utah

Heber Valley Self-Reliance group planted the small red beans we purchased from True Leaf Market in a field we are being allowed to use to grow crops as a community. I purposefully bought the sprouting beans from you rather than regular beans. The field is beautiful and full of young plants. I think every bean sprouted! We are in zone 5 here Heber City and hope the shorter days to maturity of small red beans means they have time to grow, dry in the fields, and be harvested by a harvesting machine. We are expecting a bountiful harvest.

Great Sprouts

These sprout well and digest great as raw sprouts! Beautiful color and mix well with other sprouted beans.

wouldn't sprout

tried sprouting 2 different times, both times I'd say 90% wouldn't sprout. Haven't had any issues with other kinds of seeds/legumes - just this big 2.5lb of red beans I bought :(
