Green Pea - Organic - Sprouting Seeds

All-round winner!!

First time trying this variety - great germination and fast growing. I found the sprout stage to be a bit bitter, but I grew them on to shoots and they were lovely and sweet. Experimented with a cut & come again method and have gotten two harvests of shoots so far! Perfect for a year-round supply!

Experiencing a low germination rate and high mold susceptibility despite proper rising and drainage. Suspect bad batch due to either high pathogen load from field, seed cost issues, or moisture contamination. Looking at maybe 50% germination. Which I have to toss due to mold. Haven’t had this issue with other seeds using well drained trays and single even layer.
