SkyMaster 12x60mm Porro Binoculars

Superb astronomy binoculars. 12x magnification is right in the sweet spot for stargazing. 60mm aperture is nice and bright, making star clusters stunning. With good technique, this is about the limit for handheld viewing, so for most adult users, no tripod needed. The image is super clear and would also be perfect for birdwatching. Focus mechanism is very smooth. I just wish the rubber eyecups could be left folded down and the dust covers still fit. But they don't, so I have to fold the eyecup down for use with glasses. Plenty of eye relief even for those that wear glasses. I own 6 different Celestron astronomy binoculars, and this one is used the most. Good construction. Collimation is perfect. I highly recommend these binoculars. To improve upon these binoculars, you'd have to purchase ED pro models, for triple the price. For stargazing, that's not needed.
