Jesse Tree Story Cards

I honestly didn't know what to expect. We've never done a Jesse tree or anything like it, but this year we wanted to start something like it. I am SO glad we found these. My children loved them. We started them late in advent, but that also meant we could read more than one a night, which my children always asked for. The illustrations are simple and wonderful, and the text is perfect. Every member of my family enjoyed them, I read them over meals. This set deepened our Advent most certainly. Next year, we will hopefully start them on the first day of Advent and string them up one at a time under our empty nativity scene leading up to Christmas.

These cards are beautiful! Such an accessible way for our family to have the Jesse Tree experience without the hassle of an actual tree and ornaments. I took off a star because for our current stages and ages (7 , 6 and 2 yr old) the text is a bit long/ advanced. But definitely something we will use year after year! I love the sturdiness of the cards, the storage pouch that came with them, and the beauty of the artwork on each!
