At First Glance

Recently received the set and just starting to use. So far, I’m very impressed. The design looks great and the knives are all super sharp. This set gives me every tool I need for typical daily kitchen use and are easy to clean (dishwasher). I had previously looked at those big, thick, hatchet looking knives being advertised online but decided they were more of a novelty-for-show items than actual tools I would use everyday.

They are beautiful. I bought them for my son as a Christmas gift. He loved them. I was supposed to get 2 free cookbooks and a sharpening rod. The rod finally came by itself but i have not r3eceived the cookbooks. I gave it a 4 only because we didn't get everything we were supposed to receive.
