The blades are amazing. I did give them a finish edge using my diamond stones. As important to me are the handles. Generous in size, as I am 6'2" and these are just right for a sure grip. My hands are large, XXL and small odd handles bother me and don't provide the grip I want often. These knives have well shaped and done with great looking wood.
