Had a spare smarttag laying around and couldnt find any good models/solutions online for my rossm wallet (ridge clone). Using the video in the description told me exactly how to strip down and prepare my tag, and reconnect it to the adapter kit. Cannot reccommend this enough if you've got a little bit of soldering expierence (honestly I think a beginner can do it for their first time) just stick with the video and youll do great!

Not for this novice

As someone that breaks out a soldering iron once or twice a year - I probably should have just ordered the card preassembeled to begin with. Everything went smooth until I started soldering. The contacts on the board are small and hard to work with. I was able to get the board connected and working, but not the speaker. That's when I realized I somehow cracked the speaker (I guess I wasn't being too careful). After removing it, it stopped responding all together. The kit, product and directions are great. The card fits well in my wallet. I went ahead and ORDERED card preassembled (along with some flux for my next project)
