Perfect. Love love love!

Probably 90% of my clothes are made of merino wool from various manufacturers over the years. This hoodie and the sweat pants are by far my FAVORITE of all of my merino wool mid layers. They are soft and fluffy on the inside, SUPER warm but don’t get clammy in humid environments, and look cute. I got it in two colors. If it came in purple, teal, or orange, I’d get even more! I wear one of both of the pieces around the house almost every day (I live on the coast and when the marine layer rolls in it’s about 55-65°F). I sleep in the sweat pants most nights, and I wear the hoodie and the sweats around camp and to bed when I’m camping (temps down to 20°sF). I stay comfy and warm all night. For me, there is ZERO itch and I only have to wash it once every few weeks or even once a month (it’s why I prefer merino!). The softness of comparable to Paka alpaca sweaters but loftier (plus, Paka and most alpaca products are too itchy for me, unfortunately). So far I’ve just been hand washing with a wool wash to prolong its life and loftiness (which is what I do with a lot of my higher quality and thicker wool pieces), but the instructions do allow gentle washing in the washing machine. Overall, I am very impressed, and I’m especially happy to support an American made product and a local ranch, even if it’s not local to me! :)

Good investment

I initially got a women's medium but it was too form fitting and ratios didn't fit my body the best. I exchanged for Large and the large didn't seem to get much bigger and the fit had similar problems for me (sleeves not quite long enough, torso slightly too short). My boyfriend has a mens Large and that fit me great and was comfy but was baggy, so instead of getting men's Large I decided to size up to women's XL which was the perfect fit for me. The material is great and I know this hoody will be a staple in my wardrobe for years and years to come. The return process was simple and they provided QR with return label, just a small restocking fee. Customer service and quality of products 5 stars! For reference I am 165lb athletic build and have wide shoulders.
