Matador® x Pack Hacker® ReFraction™ Pro Packable Backpack

Delivers exactly what’s promised. I appreciate the few Pack Hacker tweaks. For travel I had been slipping and Aer Day Pack 2 into the laptop sleeve of my travel backpack. Going forward I will bring the Matador instead. It has less capacity than the Aer, but I’ll bring a MEC packable shopping bag — just in case the day trip shopping gets out of hand. The pack is light, very compressible and very well-made. If they do another run of these, I would highly recommend grabbing one.

I love this backpack! It is light yet sturdy, and comfortable to wear for hours even when fully packed. I love all the features and the only thing I would change is the key leash. If it was a little longer and on a bungie cord it would be perfection! For reference, I am a 5.6" 56 year old woman as well as a photographer, and I wear it out and about all day as I am photographing. I carry a large water bottle, all my daily carry accessories, an extra clothing layer, and a second camera and lens in a peak design cube.

Holds an amazing amount. I am able to comfortably carry a MacBook Air in a sleeve plus a 13" iPad Pro in a keyboard case in the laptop section. At the same time. The admin pocket holds a ton. The main pocket is great for a jacket or a good-sized packing cube. The only thing I would change is I would make the admin pocket a half-inch wider. An extra 5 mm on each of the two slip pockets in it would be a game-changer.
