To start: came in three boxes in about 4 weeks after ordering. I recommend having two people lift the heaviest box up the stairs if possible. As for assembly - one person can manage it relatively easily, just make sure you have an hour or so to dedicate to it. Let’s talk about the chair now: comfortable. Luxurious. Cozy. Big enough for an average height male to lounge in. The velvet in indigo is inspiring. I read in it, I work in it, I write short stories in it. I appreciate that I could just assemble it and use it right away, no need to worry about airing out toxic chemicals or anything. Sabai’s demonstrated commitment to sustainability and safety along with an actually great and cozy chair was a huge consideration for me. I’m happy I took the leap! I would also like to take time to recognize and thank the staff Haley and Harry, who helped ensure smooth delivery as I sorted out a recent move to a new address.
