I love the peace of mind this harness provides. While it may seem like a lot of buckles, this gives a lot of flexibility to customize the fit and avoids having to slip the harness over my pup's head since that's not really his favorite.
I weighed the pros and cons of a crash tested harness vs a kennel. I would've lost too much visibility through my rear window for safety, worried about AC air flow to kennel (hot summers!), and ultimately the safety of being rear ended by large vehicles with a kennel in the back. This harness seems pricey, but your dog's safety is what costs the most.
Personally, it was an easy introduction period for my dog (under 2 years old). Start with getting comfortable with the harness and work your way up to ensure your dog doesn't mind the harness while buckled in. I'm fortunate that my dog is already very chill in the back seat and doesnt move around a lot. I have a back seat extender seat cover, so he has more room to be comfortable without sliding around or falling off the seat. This also has holes to buckle the seat belt in like normal. Highly recommend!
I love the green against his coat! He is half German/half little bit of everything else :)

The Saker Bomber harness is extremely well made, comfortable, and easy to adjust. It feels secure without restricting movement, and the materials and hardware feel built to last. Fit and finish are excellent. Definitely worth it if you want a durable, high-quality harness.
