Brought 2 of these magnificent baitcasters. Paired one with a Buitifu XUL 2.1m Casting Rod(specs 0.2 - 10 grams lure weight, 2 - 6 lb line weight, extra ultralight, fast action). The other is a FishingFans KUAISHA KSFY2D C662L casting rod(specs 2 - 15 grams lure weight, 0.2 - 1.2 PE line weight, light power, fast action). Both reels spooled with 60 yards of 10lb Piscifun Onyx 4x braided line, 0.10 mm diameter. Upgraded the bearings in both reels, which honestly wasn't needed. Tuned right, and with the thin-diameter braid, I can flick-cast both setups 30 yards without any extra muscle. Smooth casting, I would put this reel up against reels double and triple the price any day of the week. Smooth drag and a beautiful drag alert sound. This reel punches way above its price point I'm going to buy two more to pair with a Sougayilang Liberty Kaleido 6ft casting rod and a Rooblinos Ryobi Ranmi Bancy C602ULF casting rod.

Great reel! I've paired it with both ultra light and med light rods and it has preformed great. When I'm throwing light lures, soft bfs plastics on weightless hooks, the line peels off effortlessly giving me much more distance on my casts. Good drag when fighting bass, I recently landed a 8lb freshwater drum the first week i had the reel on 6lb line. I would definitely buy this reel again.
