Smooth and comfortable

Nice reel. The learning curve was short from my 1990s baitcaster. Good access to the spool tension knob and brake. With proper adjustments I rarely get any significant backlash. Decent casting of 0.3 oz lures on the Catalyzer 7ft medium heavy, fast rod.

USA made???

I do like the reel. It is very light and smooth casting. My decision to buy an Ark was based partly on my research that Ark products were American made. The company is based in Florida but the box clearly stated made in China 😡. Misleading marketing prevented the 5 stars.

Gravity 3

Smooth reel to cast or flip with. The 8 plus gear ratio works great on my flipping rig. The drag and breaks are easy to set up. All and all this is an outstanding mid level reel without to much going on.
