HPFS500: HP FilmScan 5" Touch Screen Film Scanner

SD slot too small or off-center causing the insertion of SD card to be very tight

Purchased this scanner to scan in my old negatives from when I was growing up. When I tried to put in a SD card into the scanner it was very tight and didn't click in when fully inserted like normal SD card insertions do. Typically, the SD card would then need to be pushed in so it can release from the slot and could be pulled out of the slot. I had to just pull the SD card out and it was very tight. I purchased two other HPFS500 Film Scanners from Amazon and had the same issue. I returned those and decided to purchase one from HP directly thinking maybe the ones from Amazon were earlier models that may have had issues. I was mistaken, all three of the scanners that I purchased have very tight SD card slots (internal parts of slot seem to be off-center causing the card to be tight).
