Impressive Side Panels That Enhance Comfort and Coverage

I finally had the chance to put the Nature Nest Side Tent Panels for the 270° car awning to the test, and let me tell you—I really enjoyed these panels. I think I almost love them as much as the full awning wall kit. What stood out immediately is how lightweight they are. They’re much lighter than the Wall Kit and just simpler to put up. That alone made setup so much easier, especially after a long drive and trying to beat the cold. And one feature I absolutely adore is the ability to extend them out at an angle, which gives you a much more spacious awning footprint. It really opens up your outdoor living space, especially when you’re trying to create that glamping comfort zone. Now, if Nature Nest ever decides to do a v2.0, I would love to see a few added features, because these panels are already so close to perfect: • Lightweight PVC fold-down windows, similar to what the wall kit has • A few simple snaps or buckles to connect the panels together so wind doesn’t creep through the seams • Maybe even optional corner connectors for super windy conditions That would take these panels from great to amazing. I ended up buying six panels, but on this last camp I used four of them in combination with my gazebo that I attach to my awning. The configuration turned out so good. And honestly? These panels did a spectacular job blocking wind and holding in warmth. Yes, wind can still slip through since there are no snaps between the seams, but even with that, the inside of the awning stayed noticeably warmer than having no panels at all. Overall, I love these panels. Lightweight, versatile, easy to work with, and they really add comfort to your camp setup. I can’t wait to keep experimenting with different configurations and see just how creative I can get with them. If you have a 270 awning and you want a lighter, flexible version of a full wall kit—these might be the upgrade you’ve been looking for.
