Great size for home backup or camping

We have a cabin in AZ where the power routinely goes out. The Elite 200 V2 is a great system to have on hand when the grid goes down. It also powers our chest refrigerator when we go camping.

Compact, easy to use

Nice and compact, powered our big refrigerator for five hours using 25% capacity. We have frequent power outages running about six hours, just long enough to adversely effect the food in our fridge, we had to have some emergency power. Unfortunately, Bluettis apparently need sine wave generator to charge so my ancient generators won’t work. I’m happy, I want to get away from gasoline to propane anyway, I will get at least one solar panel in case the SHTF.

Bluetti Elite 200 V2

I spent a looooooong time trying to decide which Bluetti portable station to buy. I have an EB3a 268w unit that I use with our sectional sofa, so we don't have phone and laptop power cords all over the place. This most recent Prime day sale I finally pulled the trigger on the Elite 200 and I'm so glad I did. I have a gas generator, but our power outages are intermittent and normally only last a few hours, right on the edge of the items in the fridge going bad, or not long enough to make iit worth getting out the Generac. I also hate the idea of running a generator overnight! Upon receiving this unit, I immediately plugged my fridge in and started monitoring use. I did turn my icemaker off but otherwise used it normally. The fridge (2023 GE side-by-side model) drew about 105 W while running, and overall averaged about 2.5% of the battery use per hour. After 22 hours I still had 35% of the battery left! I tried my electric kettle and boiled 6 cups of water in about 5 minutes and used about 5% of the battery. My 7 cu. ft. chest freezer had a similar use pattern as the fridge. I have not tested my microwave, yet, but at 1800 Watts I have no concerns that a couple of minutes to heat something will still leave me with plenty of battery. I currently have it plugged into the dedicated fridge outlet as an emergency UPS and it's small enough to tuck right under my desk to the left of the fridge. It is nicely compact, but it is heavy at 50 lbs (I'm wimpy). I just bought an inexpensive 12" x 16" furniture dolly from Amazon so I can easily move it around for cleaning or wheel it to another area of the house as needed. Between the EB3a to charge small devices and run lights and Wi-Fi, and now this Elite 200 V2 for the major appliances, I feel really prepared for any 1–2-day outages without having to break out the gas Generac. Even then, I can just use that to recharge the Bluettis and buy myself another day or two, really making the fuel last! I'm very happy with my purchase!
