The whole family loved these oysters! Easy to shuk (spell?!) and very tasty. The most surprising is my almost 2 year old kept asking for “more oyster” and ended up having 6-8 oysters!

Great oysters, not too briny but very tasty! Clean and creamy. Good amount of meat for the size of oyster and easy to shuck! I had my 1 year old asking for more, my 8 year old eat her age in oysters and my 11 year old have at least 20! That still left me plenty with an order of 100!

Oysters were great, but the process had a few bugs. The box arrived later than I expected. There was only one bag of ice in it and it had melted completely. I was able to get the bag of oysters out and cool them down quickly so I think thats what saved them. The oysters themselves tasted great, but it was a close call on the time in shipping. Also the E-fish website desribes them as coming from PEI when in fact all the documentation says they came from New Brunswick. Looks like it's very near PEI but not PEI! Might want to verify where they are really from. I very much liked that the bag of oysters came with a tag that showed the harvest date and where the oysters were from. What I don't understand is why they were shipped well after the harvest date of May 25th-29th. By the time I receive them on June 5th they were already at least 6 days out of the water. If I'm paying for overnight shipping for "fresh" oysters that seems like a long period of time to wait for them. Overall, in the end the oysters were good. I just would like to have gotten them fresher from the ocean. I normally would expect to get something I order fresh, not frozen much sooner from when they were harvested, say within a day or two, not 6 days. I may order from you again, but if I can find a place that will ship same quality sooner from ;harvest date I would try that. I've been ordering fresh oysters for many years, so I'm at least a bit familiar with the process. Thanks for asking for my comments. Bob
