Sleeper Favorite!

It was love at first sight...

...until I tried to pack the bag. I bought the large Hobo Handbag thinking it would be perfect for travel and outings with my five year old. The exterior has a lovely weight and feel, and I appreciate the two strap options. And the size would have been perfect IF the main compartment zipper actually spanned the full length of the opening. I tried to put my kiddo's iPad (in a kid-proof case) in the main compartment, which easily should have fit, and it was nearly impossible to get inside. That's when I realized that the internal pockets were also difficult to access - all on the bottom of the bag, making them hard to access (again, because of the limited opening) and resulting in the top half of the bag being basically useless unless filled with something like a sweater. I've thought about trying the large Crescent Convertible instead, but I can't quite tell if I'd experience the same zipper issue, and I don't care for the crescent shape in such a large bag. If Canvelle redesigned the Hobo zipper to open two inches wider at the top, I'd be the first customer in line to buy it! As it stands, I never used this bag and I'll be returning it.

Perfect size for every day.

I am very happy with the medium hobo bag for my every day use and local travel. It is large enough to accommodate my long wallet, eye glass case, cosmetic bag, keys, folded grocery tote, small bottle of water and more.
