I purchased the 79 last in 11EE with the Seidel Double Shot Redwood leather, and from the moment I put them on, it felt like the boot was built around my foot. The fit is dialed in across every area: the heel locks in without discomfort, the instep is supported without pressure, the forefoot has room without feeling sloppy, the flex point aligns perfectly with my foot, and the shaft sits straight and snug without ballooning. Even the slight softness in the waist area behaves exactly as it should—supportive, natural, and comfortable. The leather itself is beautiful. The Redwood Double Shot is not only visually stunning but feels incredible on foot. It has the perfect balance of structure and flexibility, and it made the first wear feel better than boots I’ve spent months trying to break in. I wore them out for the first time today—an entire day, including a one‑mile power walk—and they performed flawlessly. No clunking, no hotspots, no discomfort. Just a smooth, natural stride. These boots are, without exaggeration, the sweet spot for me. My grail boot. Would not hesitate to buy again.

Great boots. Fit and feel very good and better than I ever expected from this style of boot. I took a chance on the color and was pleasantly surprised by how good they look in person. Very versatile, goes well with any shade of jeans and likely would look great under khaki pants.

I'm incredibly impressed by the quality of these boots. The attention to detail is impressive, and the boots have been fairly easy to break-in. The quality of leather is excellent, and I have no doubt that with regular care, this boot will last an extended period of time.
