Sliding Swivel Shower Chair Transfer Bench

I purchased the sliding swivel chair transfer bench for my 93 year old dad who recently fell and broke his femur. Taking a shower was one of the tasks he was nervous to try once home from rehab. Once he saw how easy the transfer bench operated and that he didn’t have the concern of standing in the shower, his apprehension was gone! The transfer bench is sturdy and easy to assemble and operate. Thank you for the design as it is helping him return to his independent self! (The video is a demo by my husband)

Its a nice product. The video is far smoother than the reality of putting it together. But we managed! It will definitely be a great help to my 94 Mother. Thank you!

Assembly was easy. Height adjustment takes a little fiddling, but offers enough choices. It was adequately stable and the chair slides easily with weight on it. Two complaints. The slide catch is difficult to press. Needs some kind of lever. And the rubber mat has no attachment or keying. It can move around. The mat needs to sit in dimples or on pegs. We just don't use it. Otherwise it is doing the job of moving my wife in and out of the tub area and giving her a stable seat while washing.
