LMH (LIGHTWEIGHT MESH HOODIE)

Very well made by someone who clearly has attention to detail. No loose threads. The cut of the mesh is generous enough to be worn over a helmet and any shirt. Despite its name, could easily be used in the winter over an insulated jacket without restricting movement.

It works well against the interior Alaska mosquitoes. It is cool under a plate carrier, it is low mass and packable. I cannot wait for the bandito mask to arrive!

This thing is the Beez knees. I have been hounding Beez for more stuff in ATACS for years. As soon as I understood what the LMH was, I knew I needed one in ATACS and contacted Beez. They didn't exist yet but I was able to order one. After a bit (always fast shipping, always excellent packaging) it arrived. This may be the first production LMH in ATACS ever. It does not disappoint. One note: it is darker than other ATACS. In one pic it is next to a Beez pack cover and a boonie, both in ATACS ix. I suspect the LMH is darker to compensate for all of the holes, it is kind of like a jersey. When worn it does not seem much darker. I plan to use it in hot months. It blends with everything from evergreens to tall dead grass. It is very comfortable and easy to wear with gear; LBE and/or a plate carrier. I love the adjustable cuffs. The hood is comfortable and works with other headgear. Not sure about the pocket but at least it doesn't get in the way. Buy one. You will not regret it.
