Large Automatic Chicken Door With Battery Backup

Makes life easy!

We hesitated in deciding whether to buy this automatic door…would it really be worth it? Would it meet our high expectations? The answers are an exuberant “yes!” Our Coop Tender large door is fantastic! It reliably opens and closes, it even performed just as expected during recent double-digit negative temps (we have ours set to open if temps are 0 degrees F or above). I can not recommend these doors highly enough-makes keeping a happy flock that much easier!

This Coop Tender door is excellent in every way. Delivery took a bit longer than I anticipated so I framed the opening in the wall based on their door cutout dimensions assuming that was a rough opening size. It is a bare minimum. I had to force the door into the opening when it came but it is not going anywhere
