Seieido Cast Iron Takoyaki Pan 16-Ball

High Quality Takoyaki Pan

I love this Takoyaki Pan. It heats up fairly evenly even on my flat glass cooktop range due to the pattern of cast iron on the bottom of the pan. I haven't had many problems with sticking and I'm sure with proper care and maintenance the seasoning will become better over time. I have reoiling after cleaning a little tricky due to all the nooks. I've only had an opportunity to use this a couple of times so far, so this review is based on my limited experience. Please ignore the charred bits in my photo. That was my first time making takoyaki and I learned rapidly it takes a lot of skill to flip them quickly. With some practice they're turning out much better!

More than happy about this purchase! The delivery/shipment was way faster than expected and one could tell, that the parcel was literally packed with care. The pan itself looks amazing and works a treat (also for beginner-takoyaki-makers ;) ). Completely satisfied - would (and will) order at GlobalkitchenJapan again!

Hard to turnover

Despite I treated the pan twice the takoyaki stick to the pan like crazy, can usually only turn them over when they are pitch black. But it works better than the cheap chinese stuff I have bought earlier. It works, kind of
