Very nice vegan candy bar

I wanted to try these after having read an interesting article about the owner in Lux Esto, Kalamazoo College's magazine. He is a "K" graduate as well as having further degrees related to his profession, and a remarkable CV working for other food companies that make vegetarian and vegan alternatives. The texture is perfect, very much like traditional chocolate bars. I liked the flavors too, and while there are notes that lean towards chocolate, it is akin to drinking a soy milk beverage rather than milk. If you like that and are willing to bend your taste expectations towards a healthier or just different product, or more earth sustainable product, these are lovely. I'm very glad that I tried them. We got two of the four packs of variety bars. I kept eating them so they must be good.

Interesting

First time trying Mez was actually the Dubai pistachio cups which were good and quite sweet. The sweet bar taste pretty similar probably due to the sugar content being the same. The other three were different. The peanut nut butter reminded me of unsweetened peanut butter powder in flavor. The warm spice was just a strong cardamom flavor which I think needs more sugar than what’s in the bar and the regular bar is just meh. Again, I think the base ingredients in these bars lack much flavor (I got no smoky undertones at all) and without much sugar they just come across kinda bland. I would recommend the sweet milk bar though.

A bunch of tasty candies

Definitely more a fan of the mellow milk but each of these is quite distinct and worth enjoying/sharing with friends.
