The Black Diamond Alpine Carbon Cork Trekking Poles have been an excellent addition to my hiking and mountaineering gear. These poles have been tested where it counts. I used them training in Southern California before taking them to the Bhutanese Himalayas, where they were essential for crossing the 16,000-foot Bhonte-La pass.
