CAST-1 Audio Casting

Excellent device and great value

Lovely little device from Apollo that was exactly what I needed. I could build my own but all the parts from ESP32 resellers end up more than just the complete CAST-1 and that's before any 3d printing. The Apollo CAST-1 boots right away and, while I couldn't get the captive portal to work for setup, the Improv BLE path worked just fine. As usual, ESPhome and HA find it immediately. This was casting Music Assistant to my Yamaha AVR and participating in automations within ten minutes. Fantastic work! I might pick up another one or two over time as I can see these devices going out of stock as HA folks begin to discover it.

Great sound; fantastic product

Adding a couple CAST-1 devices really made our annual Halloween party sound great. The setup was a breeze and it "just worked". Great product -- thank you!

Excellent Addition to Home Assistant

I added a CAST-1 to my garage soundbar and my patio speakers which allowed me to make my "dumb" speakers "smart" speakers. Love how this integrates with Music Assistant. Excellent product that I highly recommend to other Home Assistant/Music Assistant users!!
