Ecuador Medium Roast Choffy Brewed Cacao

Awesome Cacao!!

I’ve been drinking cacao for the last six years. Love it. But Choffy Ecuador Medium Roast is the best of the best. Thanks Jason for producing a superb product at Choffy.

Delicious, and fun blending with my coffee

I bought this to blend in with my coffee to create a "mocha" profile. It is absolutely delicious. Of course, I tried some of the Choffy on its own and was very surprised in how much I loved it without the coffee. It's so natural tasting, not sweet like the store-bought chocolate mixes, but very clean and chocolaty. I buy the 5 lb bags and am halfway through my second one already. Highly recommend!!!

One of my new favorites

I've tried several of the various Choffy offerings. Volta Medium Roast has been a staple in my cupboard for quite some time. Although I'm a dark chocolate lover, I tend to find the dark roasts a bit too smoky. Medium roasts are my jam. The Ecuador Medium was a delightful variation on my Volta favorite. It's a bit darker, fragrant in the bag, deeper flavor in the cup. I tend to mix my cacao to make my own blend and I like half Volta and half Ecuador now, although I can certainly enjoy either on their own. I bought one of the 80 oz bags (which seemed a bit much as I usually buy the 32 oz) but I'm glad I did. This is a keeper. I'm hoping they can get more by the time I run out. :) (just a note, I allow my Choffy to steep for at least 15 mins or more in my press with an occasional stir for max flavor)
