I'll say the back rest is better than no rest at all. It keeps you from leaning into the wood with heating behind- kind be a bit too warm. I cant say I find it comfortable, I do roll up a towel and put at the base behind the rest and in front of wall- it helps keep the base of the rest out a little which keeps it in place and is more comfortable than when the rest is pressed up against the back wood.

Loove my new sauna

The sauna came well packaged, was easy to install (took~1hr with 2 pple) and is perfect for what i needed. Doesn’t take too long to heat up and love the red light therapy option that comes with it
