Very nicely made tea caddy. It is probably big enough to hold 80-100g of tea so it is excellent for higher grade teas. I purchased this because I had purchased a number of steel tea caddies which developed corrosion and wanted something that would not corrode. Perfect! It is very well made, I am delighted with the quality and the seamless build. Yes the lid might have a tighter fit. . . doesn't stay put if it is inverted. . . however given it's size I will go thru it pretty quick. Given the price. . . I would buy another.

The interior lid of this $28 canister was very loose (I bought two same issue) compared to a $10 Yamacoh Tin tea canister which is very good value (reinforced lip) and a tight lid closure.I also bought $62 Asahi Copper Chazutsu tea caddy which also had a tighter fit for the lid. One stainless steel canister had a lot of grinding dust on the walls. so it required several repetitive cleaning. I will use the two stainless steel canisters for my cheaper teas. A good air seal is important. Otherwise a nice product.
