It's the best product, and this outfit is very dependable.

Let's start with the product. I have been using this product for almost 32 yrs, and after a short learning curve, I can guarantee it's the best product on the market today for cracking rock. It's not dynamite, so once the cracks appear, there is still work to do. Anyone who says this product failed, did not use it properly, period!!! I teach classes on the proper useage, and there are many ways to make it fail. Too much water, holes drilled the wrong size, Holes not cleaned out properly, Holes drilled in the wrong locations, etc. Insufficient time for expansion (3 days max). I could go on and on, but there is no such thing as a rock to hard to crack. I am thrilled to now have a dependable dealer in my area.

Very good product, and great support from Atlas

Atlas sent detailed instructions, which I followed. The product works very well. I had a large 'problem' rock, about 7 feet wide 5 feet tall and 4 feet deep, to remove from my property that had a mix of mica, quartz, granite and sandstone. The first attempt to break the rock, using feathers and wedges failed because the rock just crumbled the top few inches into the bore. With Betonamit, and following Atlas' instructions carefully, the rock split all the way to the bottom of the bore on each hole, with no blowouts. Two applications, and I was able to split and remove this rock.
