Great products

Everything I ordered, from the concrete mix, to the forms to the sandpaper was as advertised and delivered extremely fast. . . the only issue being my lack of skill and experience. As I continue to make these countertops zform will be the only supplier I use.

Concrete counter

The sandpaper works well. Maybe a little too well. I sanded through the top finish, probably due to using the steel trowel to soon as you suggested was the problem. I then filled in the spots where I went through the top finish and sanded again. This time at the slowest speed and just 220 grit. Same thing ,I went through the top finish. At this point I have nothing to lose . I first used the stain I ordered from you and then went over that with an acid stain left over from another project. Now I’m liking the way it looks as a rusty steel patina. Then went over that with your sealer. No amount of sealer is going the fill in the rough areas where I went through the top finish. I needed something with more build to it so I went with a bar top lacquer. I’m happy with the way it turned out and now consider myself a leading authority on how not to make a concrete counter top.

I did not hold up much more than sanding paper half the cost.
