I’m 70 years old and started playing guitar about 20 years ago. I took lessons from a professional musician for about 8 weeks before buying my own books and self teaching. Over the years I’ve played in a couple of bands but suffered some health setbacks so I had to put the guitar down for about three years. After seeing Anthony Parker’s Ultimate Guitar Method I decided to give him a try. The book and the videos are just what I need to start playing again. Started the ultimate guitar method and went to week 7 but had to stop for an about a month. I picked it back up from the beginner and just reached week seven again. I’m so impressed with his teaching approach that I purchased all of his books but I have only quickly read through the Pentatonic Scale book so I can’t review it yet but it also starts at the beginner level and builds each week. The lesson videos are priceless and I love his instructions for practicing during each week. I am hooked on Anthony Parker books and plan to improve my skills a week at a time with all of his books.

A logical and practical approach to the pentatonic scale. Sure, you can eventually memorize all 5 positions, but then what? This book gives you the path begin utilizing this versatile scale in all your playing. Highly recommend!
