An okay Jump and Run game
Baby T-Rex is firmly in the decent range of games. It is not bad, it is not great, it would be fair to call it okay or good. The clear Chromatic screen does make seeing the upcoming obstacles a bit easier than on original hardware, still this is a game that feels like it would have needed a bigger screen to see obstacles coming.

Challenging + Fun!
A fun and challenging platformer! While the first level is very challenging for beginners, once you get the hang of jumping over water, it becomes a fun game. The music and artwork is great too!

Better than expected
Baby T-Rex may not be the most obvious hidden gem in the Game Boy catalog, but strangely enough, it has something that made me keep coming back to it! The gameplay has a Sonic-like sense of speed and inertia, which can be fun, but also frustrating when pits or obstacles appear before you have time to react. And because of that, it works best if you enjoy games built around memorization, repetition, and gradually mastering each level... If that style clicks with you, this is more enjoyable than expected, if not, it may not be for you.
