Doyle's Thornless Blackberry® Plants - High Yield Fruit Canes

The BEST plants of any sort I've ever received through the mail. Period. This over a period of some 30 years!!! They grew like weeds in my greenhouse, easily tripled in size in a few weeks. Unfortunately the night after I planted them outside, they got nipped with the last [and totally unexpected] frost of the season. Most of them seem to be recovering nicely although some of the new tender leaves didn't make it. They'll be fine even though they were set back a few weeks in their growth.

I had yo wait longer than I had hoped to get it planted. It was dry and only one small green leaf. I planted and am working on nursing it through the Summer. It has grown some new leaves!

The little plants that shipped have grown nearly 5X their original size in the pots and are ready to put in the ground for their forever homes. The real test of these plants will be next year about this time to see if they survive the winter and put off any fruit on this year's vines. Ask me how they look next June!
