Super cool - it works. Five stars for the result, four stars for the instructions. The docs give a long warning about using a Mac and diminishing risk of a corrupt install if you use a Windows machine. This is not the case - either operating system could result in corrupt files being written, and it's wise on either of them to (a) use a decent SD card, anb (b) checksum the written files so you know what is written is identical to what was provided. On a Mac, you can easily do this by formatting a reputable SD Card with FAT32 and use the rsync terminal command with checksum enabled to copy files, giving yourself a SD card where you know there are no corrupt files. e.g. rsync -avh --progress --checksum "source path" "destination sd card path" will work like a charm. Ironically, Windows has no such capability to use out of the box.

Perfect as described and easy to install

Worked perfectly and easy to install in roughly 20 minutes - simple plug in and play. Instructions were extremely easy to follow. I’m so happy with this product as I nearly didn’t buy my Audi TT due to it not having CarPlay but I took a chance on this after reading previous reviews and I’m so glad I did.
