Audi B8 / B8.5 Apple CarPlay & Android Auto Retrofit Kit

Installed this unit in a 2014 A4 Audi with the Concert Radio. The good news off the bat: the unit works very well. Switches between CarPlay and Audi MMI by switching from steering wheel “Mode” button. Installation was not easy but ans expected. Difficulty level 4 of 5 for an average enthusiast. I also added a rear view camera that worked seamlessly and gets powered and triggered as soon as you switch to reverse. Operationally, there is one real issue that I hope was hoping can be resolved: when using the scroll wheel in the steering wheel to go through the CarPlay menus, the info screen in the middle of the instrument cluster also scrolls and reacts to the input. This is pretty annoying and should not be happening. Other than that everything works as described. Overall I recommend this unit.
