Aircast A60 Stabilizing Ankle Support

Sturdy but did not fit well

The A60s were at the top of my podiatrist’s recommendations for an ankle stability brace. I consulted the sizing chart and ordered a pair. Unfortunately, the fit was very poor; the braces, while well-made, seem to be designed for the heavier bone structure of a male. (I am female, 5’7” and about 125 pounds.) Stabilizers on both the inside and outside of the ankles were set higher up, and the heel cup seemed too deep so the straps did not wrap properly. After I wrote describing the issue, Source Ortho’s customer care team confirmed that sizing up or down in the A60 would not provide a better fit, and suggested other models with stabilizers to try. So I am returning these for a different brand in hopes of a better fit.
