Perfect for my generator shed. It should work great for this application.

I had a roofer do the installation. I just don't let going on roofs. Roofivent was done week before Christmas. The vent fan did not go off once with all the cooking, unless we turned it on. I couldn't stand when the kitchen vent would go off on it's own and you couldn't turn it off till the safety would cool down. Works Great !
