Really cool material, easy enough to work with at a 50% dilution. I used it to add the animalic notes to a beehive formula, which it did a fantastic job of. Detracted one star because like a previous review says high doses do reduce the volatility of a formula. Trying to dose higher just muted everything but the aliphatic aldehydes in my mix.

Sweet, waxy and animalic, like liquid lanolin
I was looking for a way to create a scent that smells like perfume on my favorite sweater. I love this wool absolute because it smells exactly like the lanolin I use for my wool conditioning. I mixed with florals it’s a sweet, waxy treat and I enjoy it a lot!

I just love this stuff. A subtle animalic that adds a cosy bodily warmth to blends. It's surprisingly versatile and surprisingly well behaved - it can sit quietly in the background, gently rounding things out. I've also overdosed along with capric acid to make a distinctly sheepy base for herbal-florals with very interesting results. If you're thinking about giving it a try, I say go for it!
