It does the job and works well. the only issue I have/had is that the black and blue wires were nowhere near long enough. I located the device about 50mm below the existing door control panel which is realy the only place it could go. I could not get it any closer anyway so had to either extend the black and blue wires or replace them with longer ones. A bit of a hassel that's all

This receiver works functionally, but buyers should be aware that it is NOT a rolling-code system, despite having “learn” buttons and no clear disclosure of this limitation.
generic 433 MHz off-brand remotes worked without being individually paired. More concerning: once one compatible fixed-code remote was learned, all identical remotes immediately worked, without further coding. This indicates the receiver authorises at a protocol/family level rather than storing unique remote IDs.
The supplied remotes behave more normally (each must be learned individually), which can give a false sense of security. However, the system as a whole remains cloneable and vulnerable to replay, and learning a single compatible remote effectively opens the door to all remotes of that type.
This isn’t a defect — it’s a design choice, but it should be clearly disclosed. If you expect modern garage-door security (rolling code, encrypted IDs), this is not it.
