Wow, this stuff comes up fast, and thick. Put down a trial strip 6 days ago and this is what’s popping up already. Hope the deer don’t tear it apart too quick. Great seed mix so far. I’ll be planting the rest now, and ordering more.

Everything seems great so far. I got the 25# container for 1 acre. I split it over 3 plots totaling 1 acre in two different seedings. Was able to get the seed bed in good condition prior to planting. Pulled a light drag 2 times over after seeding to get good seed coverage. Mother nature was kind and rained within 48 hours of both seedings. First seeding looks great. Second seedings are obviously smaller but look like we have good emergence. Looking forward to the 4 foot high wall of summer forage as promised in the advertisements!

It’s a small patch, I broadcasted the seeds into a crimped cereal rye patch I planted last fall. We’ve had plenty of rain so far this year. Expecting good growth!
