Beautiful leather, supple and rich. No significant break in required, it conforms perfectly to your wrist right out of the bag. As always the quality of the leather is superior, the color and craftsmanship is fantastic. I can't express how happy these bands make me, and at a price that cannot be beat (for this level of quality) I opted for the quick release bars this time, because I have several watches that share a 22mm width, but now I think there's a beauty in the simplicity of not having the QR bars. Don't get me wrong, it's well executed and looks great but the band I purchased from these guys without QR is so sleek and beautiful. Subjective, sure, but worth considering. For my next band I think I will also opt for the liner just to experience what the thicker band is like. I have questions as to the durability of these bands under... Harder use. I don't always find myself wearing nice watches in highly dynamic, sometimes kinetic situations but sometimes I do. These bands are good leather and I don't expect they'll fail, but I wonder how they'll fare over time, especially with weather, dirt, sweat, etc. Again, something to consider. Once I have the thicker, lined one to compare, I'll write up my thoughts on how they might fare differently under different conditions, so... Stay tuned? Maybe I should do this on a YouTube video.
