Glomar Explorer - Hook And Loop Watch Strap

Love this band. I have been wearing 3 ring NATO Zulu straps for the last 18 years or so on all my watches but decided to try this strap out after a recommendation from a friend who owns a Tudor FXD. He said that the similar style velcro strap that comes with the FXD pales in quality compared to the Glomar. As a Pelagos owner I decided to give it a try. It is the most comfortable strap I've owned. I love it. It fits similar to the NATO but without the bulk of the buckles. It makes for less snags on shirt/jacket cuffs. 100% will get more. Definitely worth a try.

I like the watchband fine. Very comfortable and easy to adjust. My only problem is there seems to be an excess of Velcro exposed beyond the end of the tab once it's on my wrist. My wrist measures 7"-7.25" in circumference. There's at least 1.25" of uncovered Velcro exposed beyond the end of the tab. In the pictures I've seen on the WOE site, there is very little, if any uncovered Velcro when it's displayed on a wrist. The part of the strap in contact with my wrist could've been sewn on further away from the 6 o'clock spring bar. It just looks a little less neat with that much uncovered Velcro, IMHO.
