Homebody „Non-Quilted“ Jacket
I made my youngest daughter (34 years) a Homebody out of a double faced fabric (one side faux Black patent leather with roses embossed on it, the other side sherpa fleece) and it came out GORGEOUS!! The same pattern but a completely different vibe. The only adjustments I made was raising the back neckline by about 2cm and narrowing the sleeve cuff to 32cm (circumference). She can still turn them up but they fit more snugly. I made a size S although her Body measurements put her squarely in a size M. I‘ll be using the same pattern for myself (S) but this time in a self-quilted version. I love the hi-lo hem which I bound with (single) binding (1.5“) made off a bolt of boiled wool. And even the fairly narrow curve of the hi-lo hemline was a breeze to sew (with a few hand basted stitches). Love the pattern.

Darling Jacket!
I’m a confident beginner and never made a jacket before, but it was very simple and easy to make! I even added lining so it can be reversible. I’m 164cm and usually wear size Small so I used size Small pattern for the jacket, but it turned out VERY big and much roomier than I expected. But I like the oversized look! And it will be perfect to wear over your pregnant belly or over a baby in a front carrier. It’s a very cute piece and I already got so many compliments from people when I wear it! Thank you Matchy Matchy Sewing Club!

Comprehensive and easy to follow!
Loved making this jacket. The pattern was well written and quite easy to follow along. I’m a bit of a novice sewer and I was able to make this garnet without a hitch!
