We use our truck to pull a camping trailer. We were unable to attach our other bike rack to our trailer and needed another option. This truck bed bike rack was the perfect choice!

Solid, secure, but expensive. Better than my hitch rack, better than a tailgate pad, and can fit my kayak alongside my bike.

The Ride 88 in-bed bike rack is a heavy-duty, well-engineered system that’s solid, well built, and easy to install. Everything fits together properly and it does exactly what it’s designed to do. My only suggestion is related to security. For a rack at this price point, it would be more customer-friendly if basic tamper resistance were included as standard. For example, the over-center handle could reasonably be designed to be lockable without requiring the purchase of an additional kit. More importantly, using tamper-resistant hardware such as Nylock (nylon insert) nuts on the rack and accessories would cost literally pennies and make the system much harder to disassemble or tamper with, since installation and removal would require tools rather than being done by hand. The dedicated locking accessories could still be offered for customers who want additional security, but making the base system more secure from the start would go a long way toward improving the overall ownership experience. Overall, it’s an excellent product. These suggestions are simply meant as ways to make a very good system even more customer-focused.
